Let's Catch You Up

Updated: Jul 30, 2022

I've made a lot of items in the past year - all of which are available on my Marketplace. But let's break them down for you! I'll post them in order, and give a little bit of info on each~

This post only covers the not-freebies - I'll be making the freebies post next!

The Missy Mane was the first mane I made whenever I tried to re-design Nova back in January (2022). We opened up Moonshine and I wanted something else to work on, so started playing with hairs. I really started the transition from Magik to Open around this time.

The Ballerina Bun was another style I'd been experimenting with making. I was obsessed with the straight-across bangs. She followed shortly after Missy.

While I made the Spiral Fringe before Ballerina, I kept pushing it off before finally publishing it to the store. I made these initially for a friend, and to test the tilt function in Blender. They ended up working for so many friends, I finally put them on the market.

Taylor and 90s Cut were released together - both as gifts for Moonshine's 90's Party. I'd been utilizing the same mesh piece I'd made the bangs with, so these were more experiments. I had fun with these, I remember being in a call with several friends, talking about all the hair cuts from the 90s.

Posh Spice was SUPER fun to make - she was the first mane I made based off of a doodle that my niece, Kaida, made! She made the dress in that same drawing, it was a lot of fun to make! Posh debuted at Moonshine's 60's Party!

Society was harder than I expected. This was my first time working with any kind of cloth-type mesh, and I think I started experimenting with hair shapes around this time as well. Not that you can see it much, just some curly bangs to show for hair. Society was the gift for Moonshine's 20's party!

Zhe Doctor features an excellent friend of mine - Kimera! This is their OC, Greg - such a sweetheart! They originally were using Posh Spice but wanted to remove the up-do curls in the back. I ended up remaking the entire mane for funsies - the first mane to feature my new go-to hair shape - and they wanted me to share it on the market. So, here it is!

Thoughtful is so many pieces, but was a TON of fun to make! She is my first experiment with braids, and I couldn't be more pleased! Just released a couple of days ago, as of writing this - so the excitement over her is still fresh! I spent nearly all day in a call with my bestie while I was making Thoughtful, just chilling and having fun. I didn't realize until I'd made the poster for it that she kinda reminds me of Jinx from Arcane. I'm impatiently waiting for someone to make a Pony Jinx.

And that's all the full not-freebie manes I've made in the past year! I'll be more on top of posting manes as they're released, now that I remember I have this blog, haha!

Thanks so much for your patience, and interest! I'll be seeing you soon!!

xoxo, Spriggy Doodle
